Capital Project Coordinator

CCTA is seeking a Capital Project Coordinator to help implement its capital program. This position supports the Director of Planning and CCTA’s Project Manager; the responsibilities include but are not limited to: oversight of construction projects in the field; hands-on field work; coordination with contractors and municipalities; preparation of Bid and Quote requests; other activities related to the Capital Program.

This position requires the ability to understand construction management practices, apply Federal Transit Administration processes and procedures; excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as an effective team member, effectively manage multiple projects, and utilize project tracking software. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a minimum of three years relevant work experience, excellent organizational skills, and be detail oriented. Some training and/or experience in construction management is desirable.

Bus Drivers

The Chittenden County Transportation Authority is looking for full-time Bus Drivers. Our Bus Drivers provide excellent customer service skills, have a great driving record and a positive team attitude. A clean CDL class-B license with air brake and passenger endorsements is required-NO EXCEPTIONS!

Candidates must pass background checks, drug screening, and medical evaluation.
