SSTA vanADA & PARATRANSIT SERVICES

Chittenden County Transportation Authority (CCTA) provides ADA paratransit services for persons unable to use CCTA fixed route bus system because of a disability. This paratransit service is provided within three-quarters (3/4) of a mile, on either side, of the CCTA fixed route system.

Eligibility for paratransit transportation is predetermined through an application process. Applications are available at CCTA and can be requested by calling (802) 864-0211 or email us at info@cctaride.org. Completed applications are evaluated within 21 days of receipt at CCTA. Notification of the resulting determination is then forwarded to the applicant by letter. 

CCTA hosts an ADA Paratransit Advisory Committee which meets as necessary, but no less than once each fiscal year. Look for meetings schedules and notices under the CCTA News section.

ADA paratransit service, sponsored by Chittenden County Transportation Authority is provided through Special Services Transportation Agency (SSTA).
