BIKES ON THE BUS

All CCTA buses are equipped with easy to use bike racks, which hold 2 bikes. Each bike is held securely by a spring-loaded clamp. The bikes don’t touch the bus or the other bike on the rack. There is no extra charge for bringing your bike on the bus. You must load and unload your own bike. If yours is the first bike on the rack, please use the rack closest to the bus so that a second bike will be easier to load. Bike racks are available on a first come, first served basis.

Ten bike lockers are also available on the Waterfront area of Burlington, courtesy of CCTA. Stop by Local Motion on the Waterfront for location and pricing information. CCTA has also installed bike racks around the region to create a stronger link between bikes and buses and to promote transportation alternatives to the automobile.
