DELAYS AND UPDATES

Where’s my bus?
Occasionally, CCTA makes service modifications due to weather, road conditions, construction, special events, etc. We strive to provide our passengers with the most accurate and updated information available. Please check this page often for current service modifications and updates. Thank you.

Effective 9/2/10:
North Avenue (outbound): The bus will travel down North Street, right on Elwood Avenue, left on Grant Street and right on Winooski Avenue, where it will continue on the normal route.

Shelburne Road (outbound): The bus will trun left on King Street, right on Union Street, where it will continue on the normal route.

The following detours are effective until further notice:

Essex Junction:
Summit Street is closed to all bus traffic. Essex Junction passengers may board on Pearl Street or Park Street in Essex.

City Loop:
From Prospect Street, the bus will travel right on Maple Street, right on Union Street, left on King Street, left on Church Street, right on Maple Street, right on Champlain Street, left on Main Street and right on Battery Street, where it will continue on it's normal route.

Effective 7/26/10:
The Middlebury & St. Albans LINK Express buses will now board and alight at the corner of Cherry Street and St. Paul Street. For more information on the new boarding location, please click here.

The Milton Commuter bus will now board & alight from the North side of Cherry Street (on the corner of Cherry Street and St. Paul Street). For more information on the new boarding location, please click here.

New Routing Information:
St. Albans:
Outbound (away from Burlington)– R) Cherry St., R) Battery St., R) Pearl St. to FAHC
Inbound (coming into Burlington)– L) St. Paul St., park on St. Paul St.

Middlebury:
Outbound (away from Burlington)– R) Cherry St., L) Battery St., L) College St., R) Pine St. back on route
Inbound (coming into Burlington)– L) St. Paul St., park on St. Paul St.

Milton:
Outbound (away from Burlington) - R) Battery St., R) Pearl St.
Inbound (coming into Burlington)– L) St. Paul St., R) Cherry St.

Traffic Delays:
Please expect short delays during peak traffic times in congested areas.

Holidays:
There is no bus service on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Easter (only a.m. Sunday Special; no Sunday U-Mall or Sunday special in the p.m.), Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The CCTA office will also be closed on those days.
