Special Public Meeting notice:
The CCTA Board of Commissioners presents an open invitation to all community members interested in current issues that have been raised due to collective bargaining process.

The three year contract for the Authority’s bus drivers and maintenance personnel expired on July 1, 2010. Members of the general public, Teamsters Local 597, City Managers and Representatives from Select Board member municipalities are encouraged to attend.

CCTA NEWS ALERT: Passenger Shelter Improvements Underway

As CCTA moves forward with and Passenger Shelter Improvements, in response to increased ridership and in preparation for the blustery weather heading our way, there will be some construction near the Cherry Street terminal in downtown Burlington.

Under construction between now and the end of the year, will be two bus shelters on the west side of St. Paul Street, three shelters on the south side of Cherry St., and one along the north side of Cherry St.

CCTA Boarding Policy
CCTA Due to safety concerns at the Cherry Street terminal, CCTA has created a new boarding policy. The new policy will be in effect beginning May 15th, for more information please click here.

Please come offer your input on the future of public transportation in Chittenden County! CCTA is updating its Transit Development Plan, which serves as the guiding document for our planning and development efforts for the next five year period.

The CCTA offices are accessible via the Pine Street route.The Pine Street route will operate until 8:00 p.m. on the 23rd for those who would like to attend. Please contact CCTA with any questions you have: 864-CCTA or TDP@cctaride.org.
