VERMONT RIDESHARE

Vermont RideShare is a free carpool and vanpool program that offers a computerized matching service for individuals and employers.  It’s an easy way to significantly reduce your transportation costs by sharing a ride with other commuters who are traveling your way.

To begin your RideShare program, you must first request your personalized matchlist from www.vermontrideshare.org.  You can also call 1-800-685-RIDE for the same purposes.  Once you review your matchlist, contact those commuters that have travel schedules similar to yours.  Finally, return to Vermont RideShare’s website and let them know that you have formed or joined a carpool or vanpool. 

Emergency Ride Home Benefit
Once you form your pool, you and your fellow “poolers” are automatically qualified to receive Vermont RideShare’s free Emergency Ride Home benefit.  Emergency Ride Home gives you the security of knowing that you will have assistance paying for another ride if you or your carpool driver has an emergency.
